It is widely believed in the crypto space that Bitcoin cannot die.
This belief is false - unless you accept that hard forks which change the rules of Bitcoin can still be Bitcoin.
There are plausible scenarios where blocks stop coming that can only be recovered by hard fork.

No. The price only needs to go low enough that even highly long-term oriented miners are losing more money than they can afford to or can justify based on the current mining difficulty. And that is not the only scenario by which it can fail catastrophically, although it's probably the most likely.
