A note to my Ukrainian followers, there are several accounts such as @malans, @levch, @fuka, @fortuna-hive, @fifaf, @bortn, @apap which are using junk AI-generated content to farm votes on the #ua hashtag.

Please assist me in downvoting this spam which parasitizes UA community.

Thanks for the heads up, zeroed the first one..., will look later as I need to go to work.

I'm not Ukrainian, and I don't read the language, so I'll have to take your word for it. I'm starting to downvote these accounts now.

I've been looking at these accounts for a some time. In general, I wonder if there will be any general policy on Hive for such content and accounts.

There isn't really any way for there to be a general policy other than what we collectively do with downvotes. It is a matter of culture, do we police abuse as a community or do we let ourselves become like steemit.com

^ Every single post there is vote farming, just some do it more blatantly than others.

I don't know how and why people used hashtags to get vote's 😳 I don't know such hashtags which upvote the content

Every community on hive has Curators who upvote posts in the community's Hashtags.

As long as you use appropriate hashtags for your content you'll be seen by them. This can be abused by having AI write for you. Some curators don't check for plagiarism.

Okay thank you for information but i thought hashtags are just related to our content

Posting in #gaming hashtag might make people in the Hive Gaming community see it, (though they're more focused on their own hashtag #hivegc.)

Posted via D.BuzzUsually, a community has its own hashtags that you should use to be found: #stem #foodie #diy #leofinance #creativecoin #cryptoart ..etc.

UA tag is used to represent Ukrainian language. Some people want to see/support any Ukrainian content, which can potentially be in many different communities, so they use the tag to find and/or upvote content.

Okay i understand
