Ok, please don't think I'm not happy and excited that Teddy's return home! But I have questions 🤪🤦🤔
Was Teddy chipped? If you knew who the person was why not contact authorities before they were stopped? And how exactly did the police know that was Teddy? Again, I'm not trying to be antagonist, but he's not a unique looking dog.. Anyways, I am very happy he's home! I love my animals too and have lost a few on the way. One ran away during a storm.. we searched for hours looking for him in the pouring rain. For days, weeks, months afterwards. I choose to believe someone saw him and picked him up and kept him. He was a malice mix. Cute little thing. He was in the back yard (fenced).. And as we were bringing them in a big clap of thunder hit and he took off. We were right there, ran after him... But never found him😴
I still think about biscuit (that was his name)

Those are great questions, there's lots of media reports about the story if you have more questions. Teddy was microchipped and the authorities were contacted immediately when he was stolen. This is how we knew who the thief was, because the police accessed security footage. However they did not make an arrest immediately and the man jumped the boarder to the USA where Canadian police do not have authority.

Because there was an arrest warrant for the man, when he ran a red light, the police in the USA realized the dog that was with him was likely stolen and he was confiscated. Alaina was then identified as Teddy's owner and we put together an effort to bring him home.

Aww, I'm so happy all worked out and Teddy's home🤗
Thanks for answering my questions🤗🤗🤗
