... sense to me coming from a Web2 world was Hive.Blog & D.Buzz. Everything else was overwhelming. I think of D.Buzz as the gateway from newbies to begin understanding how Hive works. Please never go away.

I agree. I prefer the d.buzz approach. In some ways, this is an ideal use case for decentralized blogging. It's quick and easy—make/share your contribution.

I don't know what the state of dbuzz is. It seems short form has been normalised on Hive now, but other dapps do it via comments.
Not a fan of original posts being comments. Just me, but comments seem to get lost whereas original posts are more discoverable. Plus, when I go to "All Posts" it is easy to see what I have been talking about over time in on single place vs. trying to find an original post within the various comments I've left for other content.
peakd now does a good job of managing those short posts in comments. It doesn't do dbuzz, but then those are posts anyway.
Yeah, sad it's not working anymore like other wonderful projects in the past. I can't post on there at all!
I had that problem. Changing my Hive node in DBuzz settings fixed it.

I hadn't even thought to change my Hive node. Doh! Thanks for the suggestion.
I didn't actually think of it either. I already forgot who did, but someone else posted the fix a few days ago. That's when I learned I'm addicted to DBuzz.
