We got plenty more triple digit this year. But it wasn't as bad as other years. We definitely had more rain.
Our triple digits happened in the span of two weeks. A big and welcome surprise. We also got some decent rain. Which is a big blessing. We need about 40 inches more in order to get back to what would be considered normal. But we'll take what we can get.
We've had rain all week and expect the same this week. Every day! Thunder storms and rain! While it keeps the temperatures down a bit, that humidity more than makes up for it.
Houston humidity is not for the weak.
That's the truth! My sinuses have been acting up since we moved here, and it's much worse during the rainy periods - especially when it rains every day for more than a week!
Today we "only" have a 51% chance of rain. I know what that means, it WILL rain. At least it's only a high of 90 today with a low of 79. So, at least the temperature is kept down.
