It was rather tasty. Everyone in the family agreed that this meal made us all feel like we were celebrating a birthday too. Oldest son certainly enjoyed his birthday dinner.

I wish I had taken a picture. We had filet mignon, baked potato with all the fixings (butter, cheese, sour cream, chives bacon bits), bacon-wrapped asparagus, green beans with bacon. Now that I have typed this out, I realize that every bit of our meal had bacon on it. No wonder it was delicious. ;-)
Me? I could do without the bacon. Not a fan. I know, my family thinks the same thing - there's something wrong with me.
