I think the level of UV light is what determines your vitamin D production. Perhaps a UV light chart would help you find the answer. It turns out that many dermatologists are D deficient because they use sunblock.
I don't think so but that's just a hunch.
I.e. I once had to have our son, get sun exposure due to jaundice and I was told it had to be in the morning.
I don't think they would have said that if it could be in the afternoon.
(Not sure though)
