Great! Time for me to add value to your thoughts.

So, on hive-engine (a 2nd layer chain of #HIVE) there are many tokens... these tokens can be transferred to any account within the hive blockchain.

Those tokens can be transacted via https://hive-engine.com for example for SWAP.HIVE token that is effectively a pegged (representative) of HIVE token on the 1st layer of the HIVE blockchain.

But within the Hive-Engine layer (a 2nd layer chain of the HIVE blockchain) one can also do other things with those tokens, for example, SWAPs (swapping tokens for other tokens, depending on market prices). For example, you can use this interface: https://beeswap.dcity.io
