This is a great question. The issue here is that although stuff like solar panels & wind turbines are amazing for the environment making these stuff require mining and so much extra pollution. I'll make some Buzzes on the topic :)
The problem seems to be arising from wrong choice of green technology projects that are poorly designed and managed and sponsored for political mileage. Here are some links:

The "Green" movement has more or less been hijacked by politicians and big business who use their propaganda networks to ensure they are the benefactors of the movement
I've seen alternative perspectives on the green movement and the harm that things like the production of electric cars, their batteries, the power stations, etc. cause.
But this is just MY perspective, and this is a #FreeSpeech platform . . all perspectives are welcome 😊👍
