Look, if any platform out there still requires you to give them any #KYC info AT ALL, such as your email address, password, or a phone number, STOP USING THEM & look at the alternatives that are out there.
They're NOT #Web3 compliant if they're pro-KYC!! #privacy #security #fuKYC

My biggest problem with KYC isn't the privacy, (though it counts too,) it's that some people in the world don't have identities or impossible for them to confirm theirs.
Years I ago wouldn't have been able to KYC even if I wanted to! Legal papers like Passports aren't easy here.

That's a great point Ahmad! I didn't even think of that. Here in Mexico for example, only about half of the population can even read, let alone have an email address, etc. They too couldn't KYC even if they wanted to.
Same here. Most of my relatives don't have passports or didn't until recently.
The only reason my family renews our passports all the time is because my mother prefers going to Tunisia for the treatment of some of her medical conditions as medical care is better there.

But they all are crowded by #criminals
Possibly, yeah. Anyone that requires you to give them KYC can absolutely use that information against you.
Avoid all KYC. All of it.
Do you have a list of services which are non-KYC?
While on Lokinet, I might use exchanges like tradeogre and bisq, and bridges like swapspace.co, simpleswap.io, godex.io, and stealthex.io. ZERO KYC and NO LIMITS.
I've heard of the tradeogre. Is there a place to buy electronics?
I love the sentiment, but we can't even get most of these idiots buying Bitcoin, or even understanding crypto at a sixth grade level.
We have a long way to go, and you are calling for a complete undermining of the banking, legal, and political system.
I'm with you in spirit.

We open sourced Join.D.Buzz on our GitHub.

And I am interested in adding paid accounts via $XMR, $HIVE and $HBD but have not yet found available time to do so.

TRUE! I hate that stuff..
Sometimes you can't not use them, (but I try to be careful.)
Some countries require all companies to KYC anyone who deals with them. There are things you can't do as a platform unless you apply KYC including dealing with USA citizens financially (hence Binance struggles with US.)

I don't care what a government (CORP-oration) wants from me.
I don't care what a registered company wants from me either.
Those that vote for and support that old maritime law construct are guilty of supporting murder imo. #fuKYC #web3 #donoharm #privacy #coexist
But what if we've already done KYC on an exchange?
What would you recommend we do then? 😀

Use a different exchange and get your funds off that old one asap.

Thank you very much for the recommendations. 😀
There are so many options here.
So, which exchange has the lowest commission among the exchanges you use?

Pricing fluctuates a lot, so I always compare when doing a trade.
Agree 100%
Down with the system.
