This is a variation of rice cake originated from Northern Luzon which is made of gluten, coconut milk and jagerr y. Before this is usually served upon the Lenten season but nowadays, they are available year round.

My friend who knew how to cook this gave me tupig. At first I thought it was a rice cake but upon opening it I was amazed by its appearance. It is incredibly delicious when I tasted it.
