Trying to be as good parent as possible while also aiming to be a hard worker professional can be extremely hard most of the time. It's like running top speed forward while looking back to check what's behind: crashing is inevitable!

I think that's why the old way, where one parent stayed home with the kids, was superior.

That makes sense (partially at least). I truly believe that both parents should stay home (not necessarily at the same time) so both of them can appreciate the efforts needed to rise children. Too often the one who "works" fails to understand the one who stays home. 🤔
