I hate the HBD interest
I oppose the HBD interest which is nothing more than inflation of the Hive itself. Money doesn't come out of thin air. I hope this system will be scraped.

I too hope the system goes away or becomes lower, it was better when the interest was only 3%.
A 20% rate will just backfire. The only way for it to be sustainable is for Hive to gain more than +20% value per year every year AND even then it's not good for the blockchain.

I think a high amount of staking is important for Hbd to be used as a good stablecoin in the future.

My thought is that some of the stable coins in the market should actually stand as stakes. Think about it, sometimes even the Usdt Busd parity can be very volatile. 🙂
