The Maximum Accepted Payout limits the maximum payout of the post (or comment) you are going to publish. The excess payout beyond that value goes to the Hive Reward Pool. It is useful when you want to post something that you think does not deserve high upvotes (such as very short posts or duplicate posts). 🤓
