For example, the data of millions of people in Turkey is sold on places such as the deep web.
I do not see a method how-to defend myself if somebody would invest into a deepfake that looks and sounds like me.
Right now the price might still be in the thousands to pull that, soon it will be couple hundert and after that any phone and a 20$/month subscription will do.
Yes, there are millions of people waiting to misuse technology. But I hope security technologies will also emerge against technologies such as deepfake. 😀

And who is going to run that security technologies? An even more frightening idea.
Maybe companies like Cloudflare. Or McAfee, Norton, Proton.
