Ofcourse, data ownership is part of the core principle of decentralization. The best way this can be achieved is to make it possible for almost everyone to run the nodes or atleast can download and own their data on Hive network. I think there is a Hive service that makes the data download part possible. Will hopefully share it someday after testing
