Yes it turns into yellow or gold type colour.
...But in my post I didn't said that it's ripen I just said after few days it will ripe.

Here some pictures of ripen wheat because today I visited my grandparents farm here the soil is kinda Sandy that's why crops ripening is fast as compared my area.
