A few folks do, but it's mostly Hive politics. There was a lot of Nigerian political discussion during their last election, and their currency change.
I think many users come here to AVOID politics!

I think that is true. Avoiding #politics is a good idea. When our #hive community and tools are about freedom and full self-ownership, it is too dangerous to be political.
