when the d.buzz website was interrupted. I still have access to all the information I need through the hive.blog website and other pages in the hive network ecosystem, which is something that twitter cannot do. It's great that an error makes me understand more about blockchain.:D

But I think Twitter won't face a lot of down time because many people need it all the time and the company knows that... If not for the fear of being banned and/or user-information selling, I'd love sites like Twitter & Facebook!

The things you worry about are the essentials for these platforms to survive. Any change has the beginning of something and possibly the end of something else. It is the respect for the privacy and freedom of users that makes blockchain so special. It will be maintained and improved. I think it will stay that way until it actually outperforms the old platform and makes a bigger change. Today, you and I and everyone here are trying to create that future.
Hope that future is like I imagine it or better :)
