A member of our group chat on Facebook asked me:
I just want to ask. Is this legit or scam?
I immediately responded to him:
Oh, that's a scam. If you click on the tab below, the next instruction will probably ask you to type in your seed phrase. There is no airdrop outside of the Pi mobile app. The goal is to get your Pi. Many have fallen victim to them.
It is interesting that in the past six years, Pi was considered a scam. Now scams want to scam pioneers with their Pi. Why don't they want to play fair? Oh! That's too much to expect from scammers. They don't play fair.
Perhaps some of these scammers are those who didn't believe in Pi during those waiting years. Now that the token is traded on crypto exchanges, they want a big share of it.
That scammer did not do his homework. The total number of pioneers is 60 million, not 2 million. How does he expect us to believe in distributing close to 50,000 PHP worth of Pi to 11 million KYCed pioneers? That's 541.8 billion PHP. That is almost the total market cap of Pi now.
