I don't think that @theringmaster would be able to try out Qortal anytime soon because of that requirement! π€―π
Running a Qortal node using either own hardware or a VPS would require the user to keep the node online and also pay for invoices/bills! π€―πΈπ

Absolutely.. I went to open them and signed up to. One of them a bit of a complex learning curve but I'll keep learning...π
Don't forget to ask @tydynrain if you encounter roadblocks trying out those platforms! π€π

Yes good friend, I will
Hope that we don't need to have to wait for another 7 days before you ask another question about his recommended platforms! π€π

Maybe! Luckily the Qortal core and UI can be run quite easily on most laptops and desktop systems. There is also a way now to interact with the Qortal ecosystem using an app created by a user, though as far as I know a Qortal account is still needed to do so. Since it's only connecting to nodes, and is not a node itself, there is no minting (at least not yet) via the mobile app.
Indeed, true. I have the benefit of living off grid with electricity coming from our solar electrical system, with a backup of a gas-powered generator when there is not sufficient sun. π π π β¨ π€

For someone who neither has a spare laptop/desktop computer or sufficient bandwidth, he or she will need to rent a server for running a Qortal node 24/7. π€
The term "solar electrical system" looks long, but we can't shorten it to "solar system" because that would have a very different meaning. ππ€

Indeed, though that's not recommended, as part of the use of Qortal is being able to remain quite anonymous, if it's desired. It could work, though. It can be run on very limited systems, like Raspberry Pie. π π π β¨ π€

There are some people who would still prefer to host #Qortal on a third-party VPS (or dedicated server) to help keep it online 24/7 to support the network, even if they can't take full advantage of its features. π€π€

Indeed, there surely are such individuals. I do quite well with my off-grid jungle internet and electricity! The only thing really needed to take full advantage of Qortal's features is registering a name, once that's done, you can do everything but mint. πππβ¨π€

I assume that you have wanted to choose your Hive username as your #Qortal name. π€π€π

Indeed, I use this username regardless of the platform or blockchain! It makes it very easy to find me! π π π β¨ π€
