Gophers can disrupt a lot of shit. Several years ago a gopher dug such a large hole in the hay field that when Robin's uncle started cutting the hay, the tractor's front wheel went into the hole and threw Louie clear off of the tractor.

We get coyotes digging dens in the middle of fields. Almost drove a side by side into one at 20-25mph. Middle of the night foggy, rainy looking for the powerlines. not cool… not cool at all.

Pretty wild how much dirt they can push around. Eventually the connections will fail due to corrosion. We didn’t even want to touch the moist dirt. One side is 14,400 volts. The other side is 120volts
