The price of most #HiveEngine tokens (such as WINEX) aren't pegged to a specific currency. 🤓

A few examples of Hive Engine tokens whose issuers attempt to peg to a specific value of another currency are CENT (which is pegged to $0.01 each but hasn't been successful so far at only $0.0014 per token) and BBH (which is pegged to 0.00000001 BTC or 1 satoshi which appears to be successful so far at $0.00034 on Hive Engine which is practically the same as its price on centralized exchanges). 😏

Oh I thought WINEX was pegged... MAybe it's time to look into selling some when the price is high.... !LUV !HUG

If WINEX is to be pegged to another currency, I wonder which it would be. 🤔

None of any of fiat currency or cryptocurrency comes to mind. 🤯😅

Why can it not be pegged to the Dollar? !BEER

Any token can be pegged to any other currency (such as USD), but it should have a good reason for the peg or it won't get much support from the community. 🤔🤓 !PIZZA !WINE

And what is a good reason? Like in "why wouldn't !wine it be getting support from the community"?

There can be several reasons, but one reason I can think of is that if there are already tokens (such as HBD on the first layer of the Hive blockchain that is already stable enough, and the CENT token on #HiveEngine which so far has failed to be worth close to $0.01), then they would likely hesitate to support another stabletoken. 🤔🤓 !PIZZA
