Can’t wait to get the bigger rigs running again!
2.3 KH/s at 10-15W of power on a MacBook Air M1, not bad for a laptop! Staying cool too!

Whenever a BTC Maximalist start talking about PoW and Decentralization, they should be reminded of Monero and how it does everything better!

Absolutely
Awesome! I like $XMR a lot too.
Is mining XMR profitable?
Posted via D.Buzz
That's my question too at the low wattage he's burning it may be.
On this computer, yes. Just depends on how much your power costs and how much power your computer, namely your CPU takes. It's not all about the profitability, it's more about supporting the chain.
That's the type of narrative we need for D.Buzz and Hive dApps.

Yes, 💯 about supporting the chain. So cool that it's also profitable sometimes.

Is it an easy set up?
Yeah, XMRig has a wizard that helps you set up the config file, then you download the github file for your machine and then paste the config info from the wizard in the config.json file, then open the program, and you are off and mining. I am using supportxmr.com's pool and Exodus for my Monero wallet.
how to mine xmr?

Using XMRig software on my computer
Nice! We need to figure how to mine HIVE❗

Hive isn’t a proof of work blockchain so there isn’t “mining”. It’s delegated proof of stake, so you can run a witness node to but you have to obtain votes to get up the list, so it’s like a popularity contest. The proof of brain method of posting and curating is the best way to earn Hive.
