I don’t know how Neuralink hooks into brain. Shouldn’t it need to be connected to every neuron in the brain in order to achieve that and at that point it could replace the brain altogether with GPT4?
As VR desktops grow in use, I imagine this is what they will basically evolve into. Once storage or compression make it possible for average users to record their whole lives in video, we won't need our own memories.
