I believe that climate change is real. What irks me is the belief that socialism leads to perfect climate. Socialist countries have worse environmental records than free nations.

People in free nations can protest the activities of others, while people in socialized nations are simply put to task by their socialist taskmasters.

BTW, the idea that countries in Northern climates take in hundreds of millions of migrants is absurd from a climate point of view. One must burn fossil fuels in such climates to avoid freezing to death. Every migrant from the equator to Europe or the US means tons of carbon emissions released into the atmosphere.

If the left cared about the climate they would encourage migration from cold countries to warm countries.

If we wanted to improve living conditions in countries on the tropics, we could apply a time honored concept called liberty and the people would see their living conditions improve.

Of course the climate change debate is not about the environment. It is about power. To the leftist, climate change is simply a narrative one repeats in the quest for power.
