After a few hours of silence, my husband (even if I pestered him not to go out yet) went outside to check the havoc that Typhoon Odette had left.
Trees uprooted. Lampposts bent.
No lights can be seen except for the light from our little flashlight.

Oh! Sadly, 8 died in our city. 82 on the other island. The official death toll reached 405 as of yesterday's count.
