It’s been a week since I started animating and sharing some parts of my journey on Hive. Things are going well, though I haven’t continued lately due to my schoolwork. I am trying to animate when I have free time and when I am bored.
I also bought this stylus pen from Shopee, which I am using as a pen on my Android. Honestly, it is way better to animate using a pen because I can draw easily and straighter using this. The good thing is it is very cheap and has a dual purpose where it has a real pen from one side and a stylus pen from another side.
But as I said, I haven’t tried to continue learning my walking cycle animation, I am trying to master it while trying to learn running cycle so I can start creating a short animation with smooth transition and plot.
This is the current animation that I've been doing recently. Guess what's happening on the next frames?
Anyway, recently I tried to delete FlipaClip on my phone and tried to re-install it. For some stupid reason, I found out that I just lost the animations that I created last time (the one that I shared here from my previous blog).
I was frustrated after learning this because I thought when I created an account I could save the files from the app but I learned that it doesn’t have an auto-sync feature from the cloud so you have to save it manually.
Here's the current projects that I have where the old files were deleted and this is the newly created one.
Nevertheless, I know that it was my fault for deleting the app but at least I learned it while having a few projects instead of learning this when I already created a lot of animations. But I hope the FlipaClip team will make an update about this so every user will not lose their animations unwanted.
I will continue doing animations and share my journey on Hive to make progress. It could be another niche and a skill set for everyone who wants to explore.
Ouch! Sayang naman. Pero at least nalaman mo while it is early. It would suck if you created a lot saka mawala.
Enjoy your learning journey😉
exactly, it's a blessing in disguise, now i know.
