Landscape bathed in light - watercolors on paper
Hello everyone dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a painting with which I highlighted the value of light in landscape. I have depicted a foreshortening where the sky at the sides is Indian red and slowly converging in the center takes on orange and yellow colors until it is completely white. As you know in the classic watercolor technique, white should not be used, but the color of the paper should be left in. The beauty of watercolors lies precisely in the fact that the whites of the paper illuminate any subject.

I painted a series of ancient arches, a Roman aqueduct covered with creepers receding into the valley, at the base of which a stretch of water is evident.

Paesaggio immerso nella luce - acquarelli su carta
Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido un dipinto con il quale ho messo in evidenza il valore della luce nel paesaggio. Ho raffigurato uno scorcio dove il cielo ai lati è di colore rosso indiano e convergendo lentamente al centro assume i colori arancione e giallo, fino ad arrivare al bianco totale. Come sapete nella tecnica dell' acquarello classica, il bianco non si deve usare, ma bisogna lasciare il colore della carta. La bellezza degli acquarelli sta proprio nel fatto che i bianchi del foglio di carta illuminano qualsiasi soggetto. Ho dipinto una serie di antiche arcate, un acquedotto romano ricoperto da rampicanti che si allontana nella valle, alla cui base si evince un tratto di acqua.
