Hello everyone Hivers and welcome back to my art blog. Today I want to share an unusual painting made with oil pastels and watercolours and depicting a valley I imagined in prehistoric times.
I depicted my idea of an archaic scene, without any construction or building, without people but full of elements of nature that combine and intersect with each other with repeated visual references.
I painted some horses at the base of the painting to remind us of the animals' connection to the land in the wild.
I wanted to paint the landscape rich in details that could evoke the dawn of humanity, mountains, rocks, trees, roots, and water.

Preistoria - acquarelli e pastelli ad olio su carta
Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog di arte. Oggi voglio condividere un dipinto inusuale realizzato con pastelli ad olio ed acquarelli e che raffigura una valle che ho immaginato nella preistoria. Ho dipinto alcuni cavalli alla base del dipinto per ricordare il legame con il territorio degli animali allo stato brado.
Ho voluto dipingere il paesaggio ricco di particolari che potessero evocare gli albori dell'umanità, montagne, rocce, alberi, radici, e acque. Ho raffigurato la mia idea di una scena arcaica, senza alcuna costruzione o edifico, senza uomini ma piena di elementi della natura che si combinano e si intersecano tra loro con ripetuit richiami visivi.

I love the textures achieved by the usage of pastels. That's a beautiful touch
It is not easy to make a painting like this but the way the tree is made in the upper part looks very beautiful.
