Old is gold. Talk about a classic and music meant for people to listen and dwell on. Not only will the beats get you body moving, the lyrics will remind you the singer means business. Wonderful to here more than this one 2024. Cheers!!
True. I think even the young ones. I see then scouting for old songs. A funny part of it all is I am yet to hear one hum and whistle a latest jingle and enjoy it like the hood old days.
Yeah, I get that. I think the only exception might be rap music simply because it didn't really exist back then. Maybe Metal too, but other than that, the classics are the best.
He's one of those people I have been hearing for years without realising, but he has a great voice. Squeeze were a great band. They were probably bigger in the UK.
Yeah, exactly, I never would have guessed he had his hands in so many things until I really started looking into him. I just remember their one hit "Tempted".
Going down through the years one realizes just how much the musicians moved around, did a similar post years ago, on the old system, Yes, right down the Rabbitt hole and across the sea!
Ace - How Long, great song, so seventies!
Indeed! I love that smooth vibe.
Some great gems there, loved pretty much all of these tunes. Super hidden gem Tempted, remember listening to that back in the day, Love it.
I'm glad you enjoyed them! After last week I just couldn't let this one go. So much good stuff!
I can understand that. Really great to hear them again.

Yeah, I really think music was just better back then, but I think all old people probably feel that way!

Paul is a very great artiste
I love the tunes and how he plays the piano too
Nice one!
I totally agree!
Enjoyed Roxy Music, always Genesis and Mike + The Mechanics, earlier music I may know and will come back to enjoy in the morning.
Many guys moved from group to group, did sessions, eventually performed solo, nice to read more about your selection this week.
!BEER
It is pretty crazy how much the moved around back then. Also interesting to learn how some groups that you never realized were actually supergroups.

Great artists back then.
