Vorrei riprendere la situazione per quanto riguarda il terreno da Settembre fino ad oggi.
La grande siccità dell'estate, del resto come gli anni passati, ha rallentato molto la crescita delle piante, con qualche perdita per quanto riguarda alcuni frutti di bosco esposti maggiormente al sole, soprattutto talee di un anno di ribes. Non sembrano risentirne affatto invece le viti maritate, come questo Moscato nero che trova sostegno ed ombra in una quercia.

Anche i corbezzoli, in posizioni assolate ma non troppo iniziano a fruttificare e a prendere posto nel terreno. Ad ora, forse, la miglior pianta in termini di crescita e risultati, andando ad adattarsi molto bene in terreno calcareo argilloso contro le aspettative.

Rudbeckia triloba da seme, un'esplosione di fiori!
Altra pianta da ampliare è sicuramente la Salvia elegans, come già ci suggerisce la specie, estremamente elegante con le sue fioriture rosse molto tardive tra ottobre e novembre, infatti quest'anno a causa di una gelata precoce non ho goduto della sua fioritura, completamente cotta.
Questo non è un problema perché la pianta anche "seccando" ripartirà l'anno successivo dalle parti basali e interrate che però bisognerà senz'altro proteggere con eventuali pacciamature. Pianta commestibile le cui foglie si possono utilizzare sia fritte che pastellate come la classica salvia oppure per la preparazione di pesti.

Sfalcerò inoltre ripetutamente il prato nelle settimane assolate a discapito delle graminacee, facendolo riposare solo dopo periodi di pioggia andando a facilitare la germinazione di piante erbacee commestibili a rosetta come ad esempio pratoline, piattelli, crespigni, cicorie, plantago lanceolata, dente di leone ecc...
I will also implement flowering plants inside the soil, so I sowed at the beginning of autumn seedlings of Calendula officinalis which for now are in excellent health. The organic material will have to be increased even more through mulching and planting evergreen trees and shrubs along the borders trying to create windbreaks. I will also mow the lawn repeatedly in the sunny weeks to the detriment of the grasses, letting it rest only after periods of rain, thus facilitating the germination of edible herbaceous rosette plants such as daisies, small plates, crespigni, chicory, plantago lanceolata, dandelion etc...
