Friends of hive,
I often go to the park near my house to do a little meditation, when I feel like it I do the "walking meditation" ..... the foot moves with awareness, almost in slow motion, the gaze is directed in front of us as if we were looking at the back of the head of someone who proceeds us, the inspiration is slow, soft I feel the air enter through the nostrils,

The exhalation also flows slowly and we find the right relationship between breath and motor coordination. The foot rests on the ground slowly, first the heel and then the whole plant, you become aware of the movement, you are present in the action. Here and now.
Sometimes I count how many steps it takes to inhale and how many to exhale. Breathing in and steps take me into meditation. It is important to follow your own rhythm, sometimes it can happen that the exhalation is longer than the inhalation.

If we can observe we will understand the right relationship between steps and breathing. Example. 3 steps and 3 steps, inspiration and exhalation have the same time, if it were to be the opposite type 3 steps and 2 steps, it means that our rhythm will be inhale 3 and exhale 2 ... this rhythm that seems complicated with practice and easy and if you keep it, we could go around the world without feeling the fatigue. In short, the first few times it is important to have regular breathing. I want to remember the great master Thich Nhat Hanh, he was a Zen monk who left us many teachings and books, meditations, and was a great activist for peace. I had the honour of participating in his peace march in Rome a few years ago.

I remember a few phrases:
Every day we are inside a miracle and we don't realise it...the blue sky, the trees, the birds singing, our eyes and those of the children...everything is a miracle....

There is no path to peace;
walking is peace; there is no path of joy, walking is joy.

Respiro e passi mi fanno entrare in meditazione.
