The Best of Discovery-it #239
Hi there, welcome back to The Best of Discovery-it! All the best posts voted by the Discovery-it curator team will have their own dedicated space within the Hive blockchain. This digest intends to bring to light all those authors who often remain unnoticed and therefore reward all those who create quality posts, leading them to establish themselves on the platform. But that's not all!
After a careful selection, our curators will also choose the most deserving articles among all those voted to create a ranking of the Top posts of the day.
So who are today's winners?
Share My World: Spooky Slot Canyon Hike
by @sjarvie5
Today sjarvie5 shares with us an hike experience to a really narrow slot canyon called Spooky. They started at 5.00 pm because it was a hot day and it was nice to have the sun setting instead of beating on them. The author gives us some important information about the difficulty, views, destination and time on trial. “As you can tell, not my favorite hike on the trip. There are many other hikes I would do again before this one, in Southern Utah. There were many reviews online of people that loved it. I think that if you don't mind how narrow they are and do the Peek a Boo and Spooky loop together, it could be really cool” sjarvie5 said.
Today creativemary shows us a set of wedding glasses realised by her. “I made the roses out of clay, let them dry and then I applied gold paint. I used, again, some spare jewelry I no longer needed and the silver chain and spheres are from an old necklace of mine” the author said. Read this post to find out more about the process! The result is just wonderful.
by @whisky2
Whisky2 brings us to discover the mushrooms in the Carpathian Mountains. There were not many lovers of picking mushrooms and walking in the woods, so they were in numbers of four people. After asking the locals in which direction they should move, they headed towards the highest peak nearby. The post is accompanied with beautiful photos of the mushrooms that they were able to find. Don’t miss it!
Tokenized Art on NFT Showroom: The Lacertilian Vermilion Stranger
by @isaria
Creativity has no limits on Hive platform. In this post you can see an amazing artwork by isaria which is, as the author said, a “vampire-succubs-reptilian-spider-lady-alien that exist on the astral plane”. The inspiration was a warped and destroyed photo of herself that was painted with a variety of textures. In the post you can also find the direct link to the NFT Showroom, an original way to tokenize artworks. Don’t miss it!
