The Best of Discovery-it #610
Hi there, welcome back to The Best of Discovery-it! All the best posts voted by the Discovery-it curator team will have their own dedicated space within the Hive blockchain. This digest intends to bring to light all those authors who often remain unnoticed and therefore reward all those who create quality posts, leading them to establish themselves on the platform. But that's not all!
After a careful selection, our curators will also choose the most deserving articles among all those voted to create a ranking of the Top posts of the day.
So who are today's winners?
The subject of today’s drawing by elvlogdedany is Patrick, the famous bog sponge’s best friend, with a zombie style. “I started first drawing patricio's body with the hb pencil, and with the pen I started drawing his eyes and shading little by little patricio's body” this is how the description of the creative process starts. In the post you can appreciate all the steps and you can also find the reference. Don’t miss the final result!
TAKE ME BACK TO ENCHANTING SIQUIJOR
Have you ever heard about Siquijor? It’s a beautiful island that is mainly known for its magical and mystic stories about vudu dolls, with craft and love potion, but the island is also more than this. “Last 2018, together with my colleagues, I get to explore Siquijor for the first time. I was so curious, at the same time excited and a little bit scared because of the mystic stories surrounding it…” this is how the story starts. Don’t miss this amazing reportage by sassycebuana!
by @artby.dara
“A friend of mine came up with this really amazing idea that we collaborate on a project. I’m a print designer, he is a 3D artist and another” this is how this interesting post by artby.dara starts. The artwork is reminiscent of sunny days and the colours are simply beautiful. In the post you can also appreciate all the steps of the creative process, from the sketch to the painting.
by @agape5
Today the author agape5 shares with us a wonderful mini project about a shelf. Materials are very easy: wood, hammer, nails, saw blade, oil, solvent, brush, dried branches, pencil and ruler. “I started with cutting the board, for that I needed a little stool and luckily I had a saw blade at home, it just didn't have a handle so I looked for a rag to avoid hurting myself” the author said. In the post you can appreciate all the different steps of the DIY work.
