The forgotten beauty

This is one of the flowers in my garden, and actually, I have tried to get rid of it since it attracts so many ants that somehow were farmed by the aphids. If you don't know that some aphids can farm ants so that they can tend to them and also give them protection, and in return, they give the ants some kind of sweet dew, which they produce from their butt. hahaha

During the process, I used one long branch of this flower to be the support of the tomato that I planted back then. Then somehow that branch survived, and still alive until now, still producing flowers, but not as many as before, and also now it has fewer aphids, so there are not many ants around was irritated me back then.

I am talking about this forgotten beauty of the Hibiscus plant that I have in my garden. The flower is so beautiful with bright red to pink color. Unfortunately despite its lovely look, this flower doesn't produce any fragrance.

Speaking of ant, you can still see a small ant roaming around the flower, but this time since there are no aphids, they are not being farmed, so they live freely, and move around the flower to find food, instead of become the servant of the aphids, trading its freedom with the food that provided by the aphids.

Here at home I planted an orange hibiscus. The colour I can see in the photo, like an old pink, I love it. It's just that I prefer colours in their greyscale, I think.
