Traveling Isla Larga, Venezuela: A Journey through History and Nature.
Isla Larga is a popular tourist destination in Puerto Cabello or Valencia and Venezuela for its emblematic WWII shipwreck of two ships burned and abandoned at its mercy , known for its rich history and natural beauty without a doubt the history of these ships and from the heights look great . then I will present several images of this Venezuelan natural paradise on a journey through this island, discovering its secrets and admiring its landscape with both normal , water and aerial images of the place come with me now ....
The History of the Island
La Isla Larga has a rich and complex history, which dates back to the time of the second world war where two ships, one Chinese and the other American, confronted each other on this island. The Chinese, seeing themselves surrounded by the Americans, decided to flee and abandon this ship which collided with the American ship which also suffered several irreparable damages and as the Germans had already period of the war they decided to surrender or flee the ship without giving much fight, it is also said that it was in another place very close to here and that the president of Venezuela at that time decided to bring them here and leave them as a marine reef.
The Shipwrecks of the Island.
Isla Larga is famous for its shipwrecks. The island is a dangerous place for sailors, as its coast is rocky and surrounded by strong currents that makes you feel strange or bad because the beach is completely flat and without many waves but suddenly you feel the current drags you to the bottom of the sea opens or gets deep by its currents . is what I felt at first I do not know then as I brought my gopro I went diving and I passed everything.

To capture the aerial views of the island, I used my new drone, which allowed me to tour the island from above and capture stunning images of the shipwrecks, I have many images to post but it will be in another post that I will do so. The island is a place of great natural beauty, as the option to bring the boats here and create the reef was the best decision at least now as the marine life is very beautiful underwater, with white sandy beaches and crystal clear water as the beach was not very crowded so the water was crystal clear on the beach. The view from above is really impressive, it is a true spectacle, and makes us appreciate nature from the air is another level that I am experiencing as well as the maritime or aquatic with my new toys to create content for social networks.

I also tested my new Go Pro, which allowed me to capture high quality images and videos as the underwater photos I got to go down between 10 to 20 meters deep. The Gopro is a versatile camera that can be used in any situation whether it is at extreme levels or for anything I recommend it if you are going to be creating content, from capturing high quality images to recording action videos.
In short, the Isla Larga is a popular tourist destination in Venezuela and I think already in the whole world with so many foreigners here visiting our beautiful country, known for its rich history of wars and pirates of the Caribbean wanting to steal our wealth and natural beauty that thanks to someone turned out very well. The trip around the island is a unique and exciting experience and I recommend it because you will not regret coming and meet this beautiful Venezuelan paradise, which allows us to discover its secrets and admire the scenery both aquatic that give you the guides to dive or by the aerial views of the place.
