Today, I finally had the chance to review the footage I shot in Venice last New Year’s. And yes, not this year’s, but one year ago.
Unfortunately, I always set aside my personal interests to prioritize work and the duties of daily life above everything else.
By doing so, though, I always end up with tons of content—photos and videos from my trips—that never see the light of day. And that’s such a shame.
This time, I managed, with a little over a year of delay, to carve out some time for myself... ironically, on a day when I’m home sick!
Better than nothing.
Venice was a city I loved, despite the cold, the crowds, and the fog: go visit it! The art, the beauty, and its uniqueness will make you forget everything else.
Experiencing the city during the Christmas holidays and New Year’s Eve was even more magical: the streets are festively decorated, and you can feel an air of tender joy.
It’s a magical place I’d happily return to as a tourist, but not to live there!

Oggi ho finalmente avuto modo di rivedere le mie riprese fatte a Venezia, a capodanno dell'anno scorso. E bene sì, non di quest'anno, ma di un anno fa.
Purtroppo lascio sempre da parte i miei interessi per mettere il lavoro e i doveri della vita quotidiana prima di tutto quanto.
In questo modo però, finisco sempre con l'avere tantissimi contenuti, foto e video dei miei viaggi, che non vedono la luce. Ed è un vero peccato.
Questa volta sono riuscita con poco più di un anno di ritardo, a ritagliarmi del tempo per me... guarda caso, in un giorno in cui sono a casa per malattia!
Meglio di niente.
Venezia è stata una città che ho amato, nonostante il freddo, le folle e la nebbia: andateci! L'arte, la bellezza, la sua unicità vi faranno dimenticare di tutto il resto.
Vivere la città durante il periodo delle feste di Natale e il Capodanno è stato ancora più magico: le strade sono addobbate a festa e si respira un'aria di tenera gioia.
Un posto magico in cui tornerei volentieri da turista, ma non per viverci!
