Welcome back to my blog, Hivers! I hope the week is going well.
In my last post I shared a video recap of our New Year's Eve in Rivisondoli, but today I want to show you the shots that I have and have taken with the same camera. Starting from the car trip, while we were driving through the mountains of Abruzzo in the province of L'Aquila, I realized how much beauty we are lucky enough to live in Italy. I have never been a lover of the cold, of Winter: I have never skied in my life nor have I ever spent a holiday in the mountains in Winter, but that snowy spectacle, I must say, is priceless. And I'm proud of myself for overcoming laziness and bringing my camera that time.
Small reflection on photography. Of course, in the photos, the photographer never appears: who knows, when I'm old, I won't remember how I was when I was young and I won't have any photos to prove it!
Rivisondoli is a small village in the province of L'Aquila, in Abruzzo. I had never been there, but it is truly a little gem. I think that the photos, compared to the reacp video I made, capture better some details of those days of vacation and special celebrations.
New Year's Eve was truly magical. We prepared a banquet full of delicacies, with special dishes and an elegantly laid table. Between courses, we enjoyed the festive atmosphere, toasting the new year with great enthusiasm.
We didn't have any fireworks, but we still found a way to celebrate with Christmas stars, which added a touch of light and magic to the evening. Outside, however, there was no shortage of fires, the sky of spectacular colors, as you can see from my

The next day, with the desire to work off at least some of the food we had enjoyed the night before, we went for a walk in Pescocostanzo, a charming little village near Rivisondoli. The intention was to walk a bit, but between the cold and the post-dinner laziness, the enterprise was not as effective as we had hoped. It was quite cold and there were smells of food in all the streets of the little village!
However, the village turned out to be a pleasant discovery, with its characteristic streets and suggestive atmosphere. I took several photos of the cobbled streets, the historic buildings and the architectural details that make this place so charming. Every corner seemed to tell a story, and the mix of snow, scents and the festive air made it all the more special.

Ben ritrovati sul mio blog, Hivers! Spero che la settimana stia proseguendo al meglio.
Nel mio ultimo post vi ho condiviso un video recap del nostro Capodanno a Rivisondoli, ma quest'oggi voglio mostrarvi gli scatti che ho e ho fatto con la stessa fotocamera. A partire dal viaggio in macchina, mentre percorrevamo le montagne abruzzesi della provincia dell'Aquila, mi rendevo conto di quanta bellezza abbiamo la fortuna di vivere nel territorio italiano. Non sono mai stata un'amante del freddo, dell'inverno: non ho mai sciato in vita mia né ho mai passato una vacanza in montagna d'inverno, ma quello spettacolo innevato, devo dire, che è impagabile. E sono fiera di me per aver superato la pigrizia ed essermi portata la macchina fotografica.
Piccola riflessione sulla fotografia. Chiaramente, nelle foto, la fotografa non apapre mai: chissà, quando sarò vecchia, non mi ricorderò come ero da giovane e non avrò nessuna foto a testimoniare!
Rivisondoli è un borghetto in provincia de L'Aquila, in Abruzzo. Non ci ero mai stata, ma è veramente un gioiellino. Credo che le foto, rispetto al video reacp che ho reallizato, catturino meglio alcuni dettagli di quei giorni di vacanza e festeggiamenti speciali.
La serata di Capodanno è stata davvero magica. Abbiamo allestito un banchetto ricco di prelibatezze, con piatti speciali e una tavola apparecchiata con eleganza. Tra una portata e l’altra, ci siamo goduti l’atmosfera festiva, brindando al nuovo anno con grande entusiasmo.
Non avendo fuochi d'artificio, abbiamo comunque trovato un modo per celebrare con le stelline di Natale, che hanno aggiunto un tocco di luce e magia alla serata. Fuori, invece, i fuochi non mancavano, riempiendo il cielo di colori spettacolari, come potete vedere dal mio
videoIl giorno successivo, con la voglia di smaltire almeno una parte del cibo che avevamo gustato la sera prima, siamo andati a fare una passeggiata a Pescocostanzo, un incantevole paesino vicino a Rivisondoli. L'intenzione era quella di camminare un po', ma tra il freddo e la pigrizia post-cenone, l'impresa non è stata così efficace come speravamo. Era parecchio freddo e c'erano odori di cibo in tutte le viuzze del paesino!
Tuttavia, il borgo si è rivelato una piacevole scoperta, con le sue stradine caratteristiche e l'atmosfera suggestiva. Ho scattato parecchie foto delle stradine acciottolate, dei palazzi storici e dei dettagli architettonici che rendono questo posto così affascinante. Ogni angolo sembrava raccontare una storia, e il mix tra neve, profumi e l'aria di festa ha reso il tutto ancora più speciale.
