Quick question, I just got my "Weekly Author" Badge, and very proud of that. But now I would like to get the "Monthly Author" Badge. In order to get it, will the last 8 days that I have been posting daily take into account or does the month starts on the first of each month? I hope I didn't confuse you with my question. Thanks!

For the Monthly Author, a month begins on the first of the month and ends on the last day of the month (like on calendars).
The gauge below the badge lets you know how many days you published a post this month. If the gauge is green, it indicates that you are on your way to earning the badge this month. If it is red, it means you missed a day of the month or haven't posted today.
If you miss one post on one day, you will miss this monthly award and you will have to wait for the next month to try to obtain this badge again.

I have another question, if I want to post something daily in order to achieve my 30 days badge, do I have to let 24hrs go by or is it enough if I post on a new calendar day? Do you what I mean?
Timing between posts doesn't matter, we just check for the post date.
