Today is a holiday here in my country (Venezuela) due to the Carnival celebration.... There is not much to do here in my small town, so after having breakfast, feeding my pets and watering the plants, I dedicated myself to choose some street pictures from my recent archives to process them and share them with you here in #Hive.... Hoy es día feriado aquí en mi país (Venezuela) debido a la celebración del Carnaval... No hay mucho que hacer aquí en mi pequeño pueblo, así que después de desayunar, dar de comer a mis mascotas y regar las plantas, me dediqué a escoger algunas fotografías callejeras de entre mis archivos recientes para dedicarme a procesarlas y compartir con ustedes aquí en #Hive... In recent days the percentage of photographic works based on colors has increased in my portfolio... I suppose that the dry weather and the constant luminosity typical of these months at the beginning of the year, have made the color of things appear before my eyes as a major protagonist. However, I never put aside my habit of “thinking” my street photos in monochromatic when I'm taking them on my street tours. This has gradually turned me into a different photographer, making that frequently the same scene is captured with the intention of being processed later in both schemes and therefore taking the precaution of shooting more than one photo of that scene, with slight variations oriented to this duality of process about which I am telling you.
En días recientes el porcentaje de trabajos fotográficos basados en colores se ha incrementado en mi portafolios... Supongo que el clima seco y la luminosidad constante propios de estos meses de principios de año, han hecho que el color de las cosas aparezca ante mis ojos como un protagonista de peso. Sin embargo, nunca dejo a un lado mi costumbre de "pensar" mis fotos callejeras en monocromático cuando las estoy haciendo en mis recorridos callejeros. Esto me ha convertido de manera paulatina en un fotógrafo distinto, haciendo que con frecuencia una misma escena sea capturada con la intención de ser procesada posteriormente en ambos esquemas y por ende teniendo la precaución de disparar más de una foto sobre esa escena, con ligeras variaciones orientadas a esta dualidad de proceso acerca de la cual les estoy comentando.

Another thing I love to do, besides spending hours editing my photos, is to put little titles corresponding to the way these images “sound in my head”, this is really funny from my point of view and reminds me of some of my literature teachers in high school, who liked to read articles and then ask the students to give a title to what they read, that was a kind of contest whose winner the teacher rewarded with positive points in the subsequent evaluations... And I almost always won!... 🤣
Otra cosa la cual amo hacer, además de pasar horas editando mis fotos, es colocarle pequeños títulos correspondiente a la manera en la que estas imágenes "suenan en mi cabeza", esto es realmente divertido desde mi punto de vista y me recuerda a algunos de mis profesores de literatura en la secundaria, quienes gustaban de leer artículos y luego pedir a los alumnos que le diesen un título a lo leído, aquello era una especie de concurso a cuyo ganador el profesor premiada con puntos positivos en las evaluaciones posteriores... ¡Y yo casi siempre ganaba!... 🤣

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.
