RE: A little dilemma // Um pequeno dilema

I’m also on Substack and totally understand where you are coming from. We end up spreading ourselves too thin and feel like our passionate efforts go to waste sometimes.

That said, I’m starting to get somewhere over on Substack with https://modulations.Substack.com

I’ve reached 208 subscribers and did have two paying folk, they dropped back to free though. I was making £58 per year for awhile. How people make a living from the platform, I don’t know but I keep on going.

I love the multimedia nature of it and you can upload sound clips into your content, essential for a synth blog. Hive doesn’t support that and that’s where the two are miles apart

Very nice substack, man. I like it! I have zero understanding of modulation, synthesizers and the like, but I love this kind of thing. Thanks for sharing your experience. I think the healthiest thing for constancy is precisely not to think too much about whether or not I'm going to get paying readers, just to use it as a good outlet for my writing practice and my learning. Thanks for replying!
