Today I decided to use once again the opportunity of our account on Hive and also to do a post here. While having very busy work and having no time recently for my favourite hobby-Painting, I have used this opportunity today on Saturday to dedicate few hours and to share one of my new painting.
While living in Europe, we face the consequences of recent Conflict - War in Europe, in Ukraine.
It was like a nightmare that we are dreaming when we heard first time when Putin announced his operation and starting his Invasion to Ukraine. Every time when I think about that, I think how difficult it might be for the Leaders of any country that finds itself in such situation.
For any Leader there is a dilemma what to do:
- to give up and leave the country, or
- to stay and fight, protect their home and their country.
And then the future of country will depend on that decision.
I remember how on New Year 2019 it was in all the news that Volodymyr Zelensky, well know actor announced his candidacy in the 2019 Ukrainian presidential election and at the end won it. For me already then he deserved my respect. Many people criticize our Politician and think that we would have done something better but Zelensky decided to do it in reality and reached his goal.
When we heard about the War in Ukraine, all the world was looking at President and his action and how his statement became viral:
Zelensky showed the features of real leader, his daily updates about the situation, obviously tired and exhausted but present everyday for his people and for the world not only in Television but his own recorded video diary and also his selfie made me want to do this painting.

How wonderful to get some time in to paint! I know the feeling! Good job in getting his expression and carisma though your watercolour.
I am so missing to do painting but lately both my own work takes my majority of time, I really hope to get some free weekends and get back to regular art skills :)
