Three-day trip through the magnificent Beskydy mountains #Day 3

From the previous parts of my wanderings across the Beskydy Mountains, I got an answer several times about what country the Beskydy Mountains are actually in. It is a trail on the border of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. So you walk a few kilometers on the Slovak side and a few kilometers on the Czech side.
Getting up for the third day was already quite challenging for me, because as it says the third day is the worst when the body has got used to it, but needs one day off so that it doesn't struggle anymore, but for us, it was the last day of our trail. However, once again we were awoken by the rays of sunlight with a blue sky. Ahead of us was a trail of about 25 kilometers along the border of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. )

To show you what you need to sleep in nature, our 5-star suite looked something like this:). Only a tarp against rain and dew and under the head a mattress and a sleeping bag. It is enough, nothing else is needed. The most important thing to keep in mind is to choose flat terrain and a spot without rocks.

We had to cross the famous Makov Pass, often closed in winter due to snow, and mountains like Polanky and Bobek. In the morning we had a hearty breakfast so that we could carry as little as possible and we also had a big hike right from the start. We also didn't want to bring back everything we took with us, so we needed to shed a few more kilograms from our backpacks to keep them as light as possible.

Our first destination was the spring of Vsetínská Bečva, where we had our second breakfast!:) It is a short walk from the Bumbálka border crossing and there is a nice sitting area with drinking water. It is possible to replenish water supplies, rest on the adjacent seating area, and regain strength for the next part of the stage and that is exactly what we did.

After that, they went along the ridge that holds the altitude, so the hike was not that difficult, but the wind started to pick up and was relentless and started to annoy us. There were quite a lot of people around Bumbálka, so we were looking forward to getting away from this place a bit and made it to the Kmínek hut, where we had a hearty lunch.

We then set off on the last leg of our journey in sunny but windy weather. The mood was perfect so far. We were again walking through an amazing lush forest. At the penultimate point of our route, at a place called Bumbalka , we cooked the last of our food and enjoyed the view of the landscape, which is very breathtaking here. )

We were down to the last two kilometers to our destination so we called for our ride home because we couldn't make it all the way home, which was the plan, but we were another 20 kilometers short and we didn't feel like enough strong. Moreover, I had to be somewhere else the next day and didn't want to walk completely wrecked, so we decided to go with this option, where our beloved mother picked us up again at Konecna.

On the third day, we covered about 22 km according to the map, but my phone's tracker showed a total of 74 kilometers over three days. It was a great trip that clears your mind because all you care about is where to find water, food, and a place to sleep. You don’t worry about anything else. That's why I recommend everyone to go out into nature, whether it's for a one-day or multi-day trip. If you don't have much experience, don't set overly ambitious goals. Even a 10-kilometer walk is enough for your first time.
