A beautiful, warm painting, especial the light in the sky! I have been thinking about it since yesterday, but I gotta ask now: What's the significance of the musical instrument vis-à-vis the grapes? Where did this idea come from? (A curious hug!)

The horn is an ancient instrument used in the countryside (for hunting) which in my opinion emits a warm sound, like the colors of the Muscat grape, famous in Terracina. Un abbraccio in musica
Aaah! Got it. Now I understand, thank you. The hunters are taking a break and having a glass of wine in the nearby tavern (not shown). As the wine moves from the stomach to the brain, they're coming up with explanations why the game got away again :-)
See, thanks to the explanation your painting now creates a whole story in my head. I'm just glad you painted grapes and not lemons. I hear that biting into a lemon makes blowing the horn exceedingly difficult ;-)
A hug (without drivel) and a wonderful weekend to you!
You are spectacular in your English humor, good weekend to you and spouse Caro and dog following.
Thank you. I haven't mentioned this, but unfortunately, our little dog has passed away. His heart enlarged to the point where he couldn't breathe anymore and I had to put him to sleep two months ago. :-(
You're right you told me about it and I didn't remember, my old age is now senility. Why don't you get another dog?
We will, perhaps later this year. For right now, it feels wrong. It's not like replacing a piece of furniture. You understand.
yes i understand, when my Spike died i waited to get another dog.
