Today was a day filled with emotions, gratitude, and perspective. We had the opportunity to visit the Children’s Cancer Center in El Salvador, a place where young warriors fight battles no child should ever have to face. Unlike other hospitals, this center is dedicated exclusively to children, providing them with specialized care, love, and hope in their toughest moments.
As we walked through the hallways, we were met with smiles—genuine, pure, and resilient. Despite their struggles, these children radiate a strength that is beyond inspiring. We came with simple gifts: toys, snacks, and a little bit of joy. But what we received in return was far greater—a lesson in courage, resilience, and the true meaning of hope.
Each child we met is a warrior in their own way. They endure painful treatments, uncertainty, and challenges that most of us will never fully understand. And yet, their spirits remain unbroken. They teach us that life is not about the battles we face, but about the strength we carry within us.
As we left, I couldn’t help but reflect on how much we take for granted. These children remind us that every day is a gift, and that even in the darkest moments, there is light, there is love, and there is hope.
To the little fighters at the Children’s Cancer Center—you are not alone. You are loved, you are strong, and you are the true definition of bravery.
