It is time for another update by actifit with the release of our web version 1.4.2
Main Updates
As part of this update, we have launched version 1.4.2 of our web portal actifit.io, with the main features being the integration of Stingchat, a pretty cool chat service provided by the @peakd team, as well as our own node in support of stingchat.
Stingchat Integration:
- As of today, logging into your account on actifit.io will allow you to use the chat service, available on the top menu right next to the notifications button.
- Clicking the button will pop up the main chat room, with the actifit community being loaded, alongside any other communities your account is subscribed to
- Do note that to properly use hivechat for messaging on actifit.io, you need to be logged in via keychain
- You can easily close the chat screen by clicking again on the chat button.
- As of today, logging into your account on actifit.io will allow you to use the chat service, available on the top menu right next to the notifications button.
Our own stingchat node:
- We liked the work done by peaked team, props for a job well done, we think it has a lot of potential for connecting hive and actifit communities even further, so we decided to help further decentralize it by running our own node. Our node now runs under https://sting.actifit.io, with the main API access point being https://sting.actifit.io/api/info
Mobile App Updates
We are working in parallel on new features on the mobile app, and making progress as we speak, specifically on the android portion.
We will provide a detailed update on release, which is expected pretty soon. Some of the features almost ready include notifications display, embedded social content and much more.
Support our DHF Proposal
It helps us big time if you support our DHF proposal by allowing us to speed up our work and assign more resources, hence funding our growth and work in support of hive.

Will the chat come to the mobile app too!

it is on our list, we are looking into the feasibility of making it happen, the limitation is the mobile app is a different technology so might be a bit more difficult.
Would be awesome if you could limit the number of tags to 10 like most other Hive platforms, makes some of the short-form posts look rather spammy, unfortunately!

We did not want to impose limits on tag count, although it might be an idea to limit the amount of visible tags displayed on the front end.
We will consider both options on our upcoming updates!

At the moment, you can transfer anywhere between 500-10,000 AFIT daily from your Actifit wallet to Hive Engine.
It's been a while we haven't visited this topic, we will discuss soon with the team to see if we are to make any changes to this.

Yes correct, 10k AFIT with AFITX holdings.
One thing to keep in mind is that the approach to move AFIT daily is somewhat similar to the power down of hive, although it might be a bit more constraining yet with more flexibility with owning AFITX. Add to that, it has helped us find out abusers without them abusing token rewards and dumping on the market prior to getting noticed.
We will definitely discuss it on the team meeting, and if you have any other suggestions or variations to the approach, please send them our way
