Actifit Updates - Actifit Web V1.6.2 Out

in Actifit3 months ago

We are delighted to bring you another key update to your Actifit.io Web experience, with the release of version 1.6.2.
The update is already live on your web portal, so you can make the best out of the below features.

Main Features:

  • Edit Profile: For a long while, this feature has been requested as many of our users wanted to be able to edit their profiles via Actifit interface. We are happy to announce that this is now fully implemented via your own profile page.
As you visit your actifit profile, and while logged in, you will find a new button to your username, allowing you to edit several components of your profile.

Once you click the button, you will find new edit pens next to the fields that can be edited, including your profile pic, display name and others.

As you click the pen, you will be able to edit inline, and save your changes by clicking check or cancel by clicking cancel

  • Translate Content: As Actifit and Hive user base is global and multilingual, and to make all content easily accessible to all of our audience, we have implemented an integration with deeply that allows translating textual content that is non-English to English for ease of readability.
Now in any post and/or comment, you will find a relevant translate button.

The button is located next to the copy link functionality

  • Revamped Login: To improve our user experience, we have moved our login implementation from requiring our users to head to a separate login page, and then heading back to their target page, to become an easily accessible inpage popup screen that auto-reloads the page after the user has successfully logged in.

Post login, the user remains on the page through which they logged in.
This improves the UX with less clicks needed to interact with Actifit web.
  • Adjust Voting Modal: Our previous implementation did not allow viewing voters if the user is not logged in under the activity view. We have adjusted this so that a trimmed down version of the popup is showing, that allows viewing existing voters without the capability to vote if the user is not logged in.
  • New Analytics implementation: We have moved over our backend implementation in google analytics due to issues with prior library to utilize a more robust tracking of user analytics.
  • Other UI/UX fixes, improvements and bug fixes.

As always, we would love to hear your feedback about our new features and improvements, as well as any suggestions you would have. Feel free to reach out via discord
