Hey Actifit fam!
It’s been a little while since I last posted in here but I’m gonna try to get back to it regularly. Unfortunately been dealing with some chronic injuries for the past couple of years but started going to PT in April and it’s really helped. I’ve gotten back to walking at least 2 miles per day and even started lifting weights again - something I’ve been afraid to do as it’s caused a bunch of tweaks and issues.
That being said, I’m feeling better than I have in a long time and it’s interesting how getting your diet and exercise goals aligned just boosts your confidence and self-esteem. It’s not even about looking and feeling better - both of which are awesome - but that discipline in your life proving to yourself you can actually do it.
My weight and health have yo-yo’d all over the place throughout my life. I played many sports at high levels and had months during injuries where I’d let myself go. For the first time in my life though, I feel like things have clicked and I’m excited about taking a one way trip to becoming and more importantly, staying healthy and fit.
