5K Training Session #6
It’s been a full week since my last session, but I was able to improve my time once again!
I was under the weather earlier this week, which is why I hadn’t run in a bit and having had another leg heavy lifting day yesterday I wasn’t expecting to do as well as I did. It’s great to see that these training sessions have paid off though, and my progress has continued despite the setbacks.
The weather has also cooled down significantly, which is perfect for this type of training. One of the biggest milestones I was able to reach was going even longer into the run without having to walk. I was so close to doing it the entire run, but that is my goal for the next training session.
We have the Thanksgiving holiday coming up next week and I’m sure there will be plenty of unhealthy food, but I plan to continue training to hopefully offset that.
